During this pause in recording, we’ve had a very impactful game come out, Grand Theft Auto V. Have you played it? Have you beaten it? How far are you?

Delays in recording
With impending schedules for work and family obligations, I would personally like to apologize for the infrequency of BE Radio episodes lately. Originally, when we conceived this idea of a show we had planned on a “Once a week” schedule mainly hitting on Wednesdays. With an open schedule early on that allowed us to do more with the shows and record up to two times a week, which allowed us to be more specific in our content. In the past 2-3 month both Brandon and I have been hit with so much more at work, and at home that time is a commodity and we have been missing each other by the slimmest of margins because of my early and unusual work schedule.
In no way is BE Radio in danger of not existing. Quite frankly, I believe we are both very driven to continue this show as much as possible. But, until our schedules slow down (which may take a while because of other impending schedules that will continue to conflict), we are forced to be much more erratic with our show schedule.
We appreciate every bit of support we have received so far (530 downloads off of 16 episodes is much more than I could’ve ever imagined!) and will be dtriving to give you the show that you want. If you have any questions, comments, or even criticisms regarding the show… please feel free to email, call, text, or tweet to us.
We will be recording as soon as possible… don’t worry!

The Classics: ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ and the raw thrill of unchecked speed
Ask any one of my friends who my favorite video game character is, and the answer is unanimous. I LOVE SONIC! He was everything that Mario wasn’t- he had speed. He had attitude. He was great. Yes, he has had some hardships with some past releases, but things have been coming up for the ol’ blue guy(Sonic Generations is GREAT! ).

Oldboy Red Band Trailer
Believe it or not, the Oldboy remake is a Spike Lee joint.
Oldboy tells the story of Doucette(played by Josh Brolin) who is detained for 20 years in a hotel-style prison by an unknown adversary. Doucette goes on to find out via a single television in his cell that he is suspected of murdering his wife and effectively ruining the relationship between himself and his only daughter.
Will the remake top the original 2003 film? Only time will tell. Until then, check out the red band trailer and let us know what you think.
